The Arizona Education Progress Meter was co-developed by Education Forward Arizona and the Center for the Future of Arizona in order to unite people around a shared vision for meeting the state’s Achieve60AZ attainment goal through the entire P-20 education continuum.
The Education Progress Meter is an interactive data tool that includes information at the state, county, city, district, school and student group levels, where the data is available. It’s the first of its kind tool that brings this information together in an easy-to-use format for policymakers, business leaders, elected officials, educators and community leaders.

The Arizona Education Progress Meter was created by issue experts, educators, community and business leaders across the state in 2016-17. In total, more than 200 individuals and organizations were involved in developing the goals. It is also used by countless groups across the state from the State Capitol down to school boards, media, philanthropy, advocates, business leaders, civic leaders and nearly 50 cities and towns that have issued resolutions to show support for education.
