John Fees is the Founder and Managing Director of NGI Group LLC an insurance technology firm that has quickly become a national leader in building and operating innovative digital insurance distribution platforms. The business is recognized as a leader in affinity and higher education markets, the company owns and operates: Bindable and GradGuard – College Life Protected.

Fees is a veteran and recognized as a leader of building innovative affinity and higher education organizations. Fees co-founded, GradGuard™, an authority at designing and implementing student benefit programs that help more than 250 colleges and universities to attract and retain students. Since 2008, GradGuard’s tuition and renters insurance programs have helped more than 600,000 students protect their investment in a higher education.

Prior to founding NGI, Fees cofounded, Y2M: which operated College Publisher, the nation’s largest technology provider to more than 600 college newspapers; led eGrad which emerged as the largest affinity / specialty student finance marketing company and was acquired in 2006 by JPMorgan Chase (JPM); previously he led the design and implementation of successful alumni affinity programs and also served as the Chief Operating Officer of the ASU Alumni Association.

Fees is a graduate of Arizona State University, where he received a bachelors of science degree in History and is also a graduate of Harvard Business School where he completed a Masters in Business Administration. John Fees lives in Phoenix, Arizona and is married to Melissa Soza Fees, Ph.D. and is the father of five children. He and his wife are on the cabinet of Together Let Us Go Forth! ~ ¡Juntos Sigamos Adelante! capital campaign. He is a Director of the ASU Athletic Facilities District, The Camp at Tonto Creek, a Director of College Parents of America, past treasurer of the Foundation for Blind Children, a past Director of the Spitzer Center for Ethics.
