Rural College Access and Success Summit
Partners for Education at Berea College and Education Forward Arizona hosted the 2022 Rural College Access and Success Summit on April 24-27, 2022 in Scottsdale.
As one of the few national convenings to focus on rural America, the Summit brought together teachers, principals, superintendents, higher education leaders, legislators and nonprofit leaders to share ideas and strategies for ensuring that rural youth have the opportunity to successfully transition from high school to college and career.

Only 46% of adults in Arizona have attained higher education, but in just a few years the overwhelming majority of jobs will require education beyond high school. On top of that, the pandemic presents challenges the state has yet to fully realize. However, these challenges also mean Arizona has the opportunity to not just limp through the pandemic, but to truly help students and teachers recover and thrive.
