Kate Hickman has been a banker with Alliance Bank of Arizona, a division of Western Alliance Bank, since shortly after the institution first opened its doors in 2003, and is currently Senior Vice President and leads the treasury management sales team. Kate also serves on the bank’s customer service task force.

Well known in metro Phoenix, Kate is well respected in the business community. The Phoenix Business Journal named her a member of the 40 Under 40 Class of 2016 and in 2017 named her one of the Outstanding Women in Business. She was also one of Arizona Business Magazine’s Most Influential Women in Arizona Business, in 2016.

Kate has developed banking programs for the non-profit and political sectors, as well as Local First Arizona members. She has been instrumental in the company’s efforts to support numerous bank customers’ philanthropic campaigns, including Friends of Public Radio Arizona’s SPOT 127 program, Local First Arizona’s Devoured Food and Wine Festival, and Silent Witness.

Personally, she is heavily engaged in community giving. She is the vice-chair of Ryan House and has been a member of the board for five years. She sits on the executive committee and finance committee for Ryan House, and serves on the board of the Arizona Technology Council and serves on their finance committee. An ambassador for the TGen Foundation, Kate serves as a board member with Friends of Public Radio Arizona, and Support My Club, she is a former member of both National Charity League and the Hon Kachina Council, where she was a board member for six years. While on the Hon Kachina Council, Kate co-chaired the 2014 Hon Kachina Awards annual ceremony.

Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from the University of Alabama and a minor in history. She lives in Phoenix with her husband and their four daughters.
