Arizona Business and Education Coalition (ABEC)

For more than 24 years, the Arizona Business & Education Coalition (ABEC) brought business and education leaders together to strengthen Arizona’s talent pipeline and support student success.

In 2026, ABEC and Education Forward Arizona completed an intentional asset transfer designed to ensure this work continues and expands through Education Forward Arizona’s statewide network, partnerships, and education-to-workforce strategy. This mission-driven passing of the torch builds on ABEC’s legacy while expanding opportunities to strengthen Arizona’s education ecosystem.

Education Forward Arizona now serves as the primary home for ABEC resources, information, and future engagement opportunities.

Continuing the Work

Education Forward Arizona’s Vision 2030 calls for stronger alignment between education, workforce, and economic goals so more Arizonans can access pathways leading to high-wage, high-growth, and sustainable careers. ABEC’s longstanding focus on connecting business and education leaders directly supports that vision and has helped build a stronger education-to-workforce continuum across the state.

As the aligned successor to ABEC’s mission and programming, Education Forward Arizona will build on ABEC’s legacy by strengthening relationships with school district leaders, business partners, and community stakeholders; championing early career awareness; and advancing a more coherent education-to-workforce ecosystem for Arizona.

Staying Connected

ABEC’s work continues through Education Forward Arizona.

We invite business leaders, superintendents, educators, workforce partners, and community organizations to stay engaged as this work moves forward. Education Forward Arizona will continue creating opportunities for engagement, collaboration, and advisory input as we work to align education, workforce, and economic priorities across Arizona.

If you were following ABEC, those channels will soon be removed. Be sure to follow Education Forward Arizona on social media and subscribe to our email list to stay connected to ABEC’s legacy work and future opportunities to engage.
