Thank You Voters for Supporting Education Across Arizona
This election season, Arizona voters demonstrated their commitment to students, families, and the future of our state. We are grateful to voters across Arizona who rejected Proposition 320 and Proposition 142, measures that would have created new challenges for our education system without addressing the real needs of students and communities. As we said throughout this campaign, Arizona’s future depends on strong schools, local decision-making, meaningful student supports, and investments that help learners succeed from early childhood through college, career, and beyond.
These outcomes were made possible through the collective efforts of educators, parents, students, business leaders, community advocates, and organizations across the state who worked together to educate voters and stand up for Arizona’s students. We are proud to have been part of a broad coalition united around a simple belief: every student deserves access to educational opportunities that prepare them for success in life and work.
We also congratulate the many communities that approved local school bonds and overrides. These local investments help schools provide the programs, services, facilities, and learning environments students need to thrive while strengthening the communities we all share.
And a special thank you to the voters of Gila County for approving Proposition 425, allowing the college to modernize its expenditure limit and use existing revenues to expand educational and workforce training opportunities without raising taxes. This result reflects a shared commitment to building educational pathways that strengthen both individual opportunity and Arizona’s economy.
To those who ran for office, thank you for your willingness to serve and for the time, energy, and commitment you invested in your communities!
In addition, congratulations to all the newly elected and reelected officials across Arizona. We look forward to working alongside leaders at every level to strengthen educational opportunity, support student success, and help ensure Arizona’s learners are prepared to thrive in college, career, and beyond.
To everyone who voted, advocated, volunteered, and raised their voice on behalf of education: Thank You! Together, we helped protect opportunities for Arizona students and reinforced the importance of investing in the state’s future workforce and communities.
