Education Forward Arizona will champion efforts to increase access to high-quality education and training that aligns with career and workforce opportunities to advance the quality of life for all Arizonans.

In 2026 we will:

  1. Strengthen Workforce-Connected Education Advocate for a strategic state level agency to align workforce and education efforts across the state, so that more Arizonans can access high-wage, high-demand, high-skill jobs. Prioritize policies that build a stronger workforce aligned education pipeline including supporting adult education, career and technical education (CTE), internships, apprenticeships, workforce certificates, and licensure programs.
  2. Expand Access to Post-High School Education and Training Increase access to dual enrollment, grow FAFSA completion rates and continue and expand state level scholarship programs like the Arizona Promise Program. Promote high-value credential and certificate programs along with traditional education pathways, ensuring that students can transition into postsecondary programs that align with workforce needs of Arizona.
  3. Sustain and Expand Impactful Investments in K12 and Postsecondary Education and Training Advocate for long-term, stable funding for all of Arizona’s public education systems by addressing funding concerns so public education institutions can reinvest in quality programming, workforce aligned pathways, and student support. Legislative priorities may include (but not limited to):
    1. Support consistent state funding for all community colleges
    2. Advocate for Prop 123 renewal
    3. Explore long-term solutions to expenditure limits for both K12 and community colleges
  4. Expand Access to High-Quality Early Childhood Education Support new and sustainable revenue streams to increase funding and access to high quality, evidence-based early childhood programs for all families in the state of Arizona.
  5. Ensure Transparency & Accountability for Public Funds Require financial and academic transparency for every institution and individual receiving public funds, including Empowerment Scholarship Accounts (ESAs), through mandatory reporting, so taxpayers can clearly see how resources support student learning and their outcomes.

Education Forward Arizona will continue to monitor implications of changes and decisions made at the Federal level and their impact on Arizona students and families.
