Education Forward Arizona Announces Scholarship Opportunities to Support Postsecondary Access for Arizona Students
Education Forward Arizona is offering multiple scholarship opportunities designed to empower Arizona students on their pursuit of postsecondary education. These scholarships, tailored to meet the diverse needs of the state’s student population, aim to reduce financial barriers and help students achieve their academic and career goals.
Scholarships available for the 2025-26 school year include:
- Adelante Scholarship: Supports DACA and Prop 308-eligible students with financial need who demonstrate leadership and community involvement. Beyond financial assistance, scholarship recipients gain access to Aliento’s holistic student programming, including guidance, peer networking, and personalized coaching to help them thrive academically and personally.
- Education Forward Arizona Scholarship: Provides funding for four years to Pell grant-eligible students committed to completing their bachelor’s degree in Arizona. Recipients are paired with one of Education Forward Arizona’s expert Success Advisers, who help guide them through the process.
- Helios 20th Anniversary Pathway Scholarship: Celebrates the Helios Education Foundation’s commitment to postsecondary attainment by supporting students in their academic journey. This scholarship is designed to empower students transitioning to their junior year of college. Recipients receive mentoring and advising from Education Forward Arizona to ensure their success.
- Native American Scholarship Program: Funded by the Freeport-McMoRan Foundation, this scholarship offers financial support to Native American students pursuing higher education. Recipients also benefit from mentoring and advising provided by Education Forward Arizona.

A recent poll conducted by Education Forward Arizona found that financial barriers are the most significant challenge preventing Arizona students from continuing their education after high school. The scholarships administered by Education Forward Arizona and their partners are designed to directly address these barriers, providing critical resources to ensure students have the opportunity to pursue and complete their education.

According to a report by Education Forward Arizona, achieving the state’s goal of 60% postsecondary attainment by 2030 would generate billions of dollars in economic gains for Arizona.
